I am a transplanted Southern girl, the mother of three grown children and ‘Mimi’ to three granddaughters. I love to capture images and moments through a camera’s lens. I miss the ocean but love the mountains and streams. I also love to study the Bible, and although I still have so much to learn about God, life, and love, I’m so grateful for His patient lovingkindness.
I shoot mostly with a refurbished Canon 40D, an Canon EF-S 17-55mm f/2.8 IS USM Lens, and a newly acquired Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens. My favorite lens to use is my son’s Canon EF-S 60mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens. I love macro photography! For portrait photography, one of the best inexpensive investments I made was a Soft Box Flash Diffuser.
On October 11, 2013 I changed my blog and business name from Sweet Capture Photography to Rene Yoshi Photography. You can read about why I made the decision here: Rebirth
