My daughter and I did a senior portrait session last week for a friend. It was such a blessing to have my daughter accompany and assist me. She is a fantastic photographer and offers some wonderful ideas. Our friend, Mikayla, has such a sweet spirit and was great to work with.
For this shot, I used my Canon EF 24-105mm f/4 L IS USM Lens at f/4, while my daughter held up the gold reflector from the Impact 42″ 5-in-1 Collapsible Circular Reflector Disc Set.
For the two shots below, I used my Canon EF 50mm f/1.8 II Camera Lens at f/2.8. The sun’s light was still harsh in the first image, so I used the shade of the tree to soften the light on her face. The last image is my favorite and was taken just as the sun was setting behind the mountains.
