Weekly Photo Challenge: Monument

Because I have been watching my young granddaughters this week, I wasn’t able to get out to shoot something specifically for this week’s photo challenge.  So I went through my archives and found this photo of Rock of Ages manufacturing plant, taken during a self-guided tour in August 2007.  Rock of Ages in Graniteville, VT owns several quarries, including the world’s largest “deep hole” granite quarry called the E.L. Smith Quarry.  Most of the granite is used to make monuments.
