Crystal Ferns

The overnight temperature here was -11.4 and around -3 when I noticed some ice crystals as ‘Sally’ walked with me to the mailbox.  So I switched the lens on my camera to the 100mm macro and braved the frigid temperatures.  I am so looking forward to spring, but I still enjoy the beauty that can be found in winter.

  1. I am so amazed by God’s creativeness. They look just like plants made of crystal and being a rock & mineral enthusiast I can see many similarities in the mineral crystal world as well. I guess what is even more amazing is that you are so intuned to such beauty to take these shots. Thanks for sharing.
